Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 15, 2026
Top Line Painting & Construction wants this site to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard only navigation, screen magnification, or voice control.
The standard we build toward
We build this site toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is the standard we use as our guide when we design and when we fix things.
We say toward that standard on purpose. Accessibility is ongoing work, not a box you tick once. Below we tell you honestly what we know is still not perfect.
What we have done
- A skip link that jumps straight to the main content, which appears when you press Tab.
- A visible focus indicator on every button, link, and form field, so you can always tell where you are when navigating by keyboard.
- Real labels on every form field, with error messages tied to their field and announced out loud.
- The mobile menu closes with the Escape key, keeps focus inside while it is open, and returns focus to the button that opened it.
- The Services menu opens and works by keyboard, not only by hovering with a mouse.
- Alt text on images, with decorative images marked so screen readers skip them.
- If your system asks for reduced motion, animations and smooth scrolling turn off.
- One main heading per page and a heading structure that runs in order.
What we know is still not right
We would rather tell you than have you find out on your own:
- Small red text on dark backgrounds. Our brand red measures 3.36 to 1 against the site's black background and 3.13 to 1 against the lighter cards. The target for small text is 4.5 to 1. We use that red for short section labels, for Learn More style links, and for step numbers. We chose not to change the brand color. In every case, the same information or the same action is also available in full contrast white text right next to it, or in the main button for that section.
- The "Verified Customer" labels. On the review cards, that label uses the same red at a lower opacity and measures between 1.75 to 1 and 2.02 to 1. It is the worst measurement on the site. It is supporting text only: the reviewer's name and the full review text sit above it at full contrast, so none of the review content is lost.
- The page language on first load. The site is served in English and switches to Spanish when you use the EN/ES button. The switch also updates the language the screen reader announces, but that happens after the page loads, not in the initial HTML. If you use a Spanish screen reader, the first screen is read with English pronunciation until you flip the toggle.
- The anti spam protection on our forms. The quote and promotions pages use a third party anti spam tool. We do not control its interface or how it behaves with screen readers.
- No independent audit. We check this site ourselves using a keyboard, contrast measurement tools, and browser testing. It has not been audited by an outside accessibility firm.
If something blocks you
If any part of this site does not work for you, tell us and we will fix it. We can also give you anything on this site over the phone or by email, and we can take your quote request directly.

Tell us which page you were on and what happened. We will reply and tell you what we are going to do about it.
About accessibility widgets
We deliberately do not install an accessibility overlay widget. People who use screen readers tend to avoid them and they do not fix the underlying problems. We would rather fix the site's own code.
