Privacy Policy

When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you type in: your name, your phone number, your email address, your city or service area, the service you need, and, if you choose to add them, a description of your project and how you heard about us. On our promotions page we also record which offer you picked.

We only collect this when you submit the form yourself. There are no accounts, there is no login, and this site does not take payments.

The project description field is open text. Please only put in what we need to prepare your estimate. There is no need to include sensitive information.

Like almost any website, this one collects some technical information when you visit: the pages you open, the date and time, your browser and device type, the site that sent you here, and a rough location based on your IP address. This tells us which pages are working and which are not.

We use what you send us to get back to you, prepare your free estimate, schedule the work, and follow up on your project. We use the technical information to understand how the site is used and to measure whether our ads are working.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Our forms ask for a phone number so we can reach you about your estimate. Next to each form there is a checkbox you can tick if you also want us to text you. That box starts unchecked and the choice is yours.

If you tick it, you agree to receive text messages from us about your quote and your project. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply from your phone carrier. Reply STOP at any time to cancel and HELP for help.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase and is not required to get an estimate. If you would rather not get texts, leave the box unchecked and we will reach you by phone call or email instead.

Messages go out through a messaging service that hands them to your phone carrier. We do not share your number with anyone else for advertising.

We do not sell your information. These are the kinds of providers that handle it for us:

• A form delivery service, which takes what you typed and passes it to our inbox.
• Our web hosting provider, which keeps server logs containing things like your IP address.
• Our email provider, where the messages you send us are stored.
• Measurement and advertising platforms, described in detail below.

We may also hand over information if the law requires it.

This site uses the tools below. Here is exactly what each one does:

• Google Analytics. Counts visits and stores cookies in your browser to see which pages you open, how long you stay, what kind of device you use, and roughly what region you arrive from. We also record when someone taps a phone link or submits a form, so we know which pages bring in work.
• Google Ads. Measures whether a visit that arrived from one of our ads ended in a phone call or a submitted form. On our promotions page, this tool can swap the phone number shown on your screen for a forwarding number. That number rings the same place and we are the ones who answer. It exists so the ad can record the call.
• Google reCAPTCHA. Protects the quote and promotions pages from spam. It watches how you move and interact with the page and scores that behavior to tell a person apart from a bot. It sets its own cookies. Without it, the forms would fill up with automated junk.
• Browser storage. We store a single value named tlp-lang in your browser to remember whether you picked English or Spanish. It stays on your device, it never reaches us, and you can remove it by clearing site data.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at contact@calltoplinepainting.com and we will take care of it. If you ask us to delete something we still need for work in progress or for our records, we will tell you so plainly.

For the tools above:

• To block Google Analytics across all sites, install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• To turn off personalized ads, use Google My Ad Center.
• To review or opt out of interest based advertising from many companies at once, use the Digital Advertising Alliance tool.
• Your browser can also block or delete cookies. Look in your browser's privacy settings.
• To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message from us.

We keep what you send us for as long as we need it to answer you, do the work, and keep normal business records such as estimates and invoices. If you want it deleted sooner, email us and we will do it, unless the law requires us to keep it.

This site is served over a secure connection (HTTPS), and your form travels to us over that same secure connection. Even so, no website can promise perfect security, and we are not going to tell you ours does.

This site is meant for adults looking for painting and construction services. We do not ask for or knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
